Our client is seeking a Customer Services Supervisor for their Ashford office. This supervisory role will require the line management of a team of 6 to 10 people, managing the whole customer services experience end to end, being fully licensed, and advising customers across all products and services available while demonstrating an excellent level of customer service. This is a Monday to Friday, 9-5pm role (35hrs per week), with an hour for a lunch break.
Duties to include:
1. Supervise the Customer Services team to ensure an excellent customer service experience end to end.
2. Take inbound calls, deal with customers, and review their needs by providing them with the relevant products and services to cover their needs, including policy renewals and responding to queries with policy changes.
3. Review and advise customers on any other insurance requirements.
4. Identify and initiate cross-selling financial sales opportunities.
5. Acquire and maintain knowledge of company products and product licenses.
6. Process customer payments for insurance policies and services.
7. Update customer records with interactions and activities, ensuring all notes are accurate.
8. Comply with Compliance Manual, Claims Guide, and local agency procedures.

Essential requirements:
1. Proven experience in a supervisory/team leader level within a Customer Services environment.
2. Use of Microsoft Office or similar CRM systems.
3. Ability to manage own workload and work well under pressure.
4. Must have a full, clean driving license and have their own vehicle.
Full training provided (may include additional travel and staying away from home to attend training courses). Potential to complete CII qualifications and may require occasional weekend work to support agency events.
