We’re currently undergoing recruitment for a Business Development Executive to join our prestigious and dynamic client in the Welshpool area. This is a full time, straight to permanent position.
Main roles and responsibilities:
* Collaborate with new and existing customers to create and implement sales plans that drive business growth.
* Address customer queries and concerns promptly, providing updates and information to ensure the company remains a preferred and reliable partner.
* Identify and pursue growth opportunities through meetings, networking, exhibitions, and other channels.
* Work closely with the Sales team to develop effective sales and market strategies.
* Negotiate contracts and supply agreements with key customers.
* Prepare financial forecasts and regional sales targets.
* Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and other industry events.
* Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and participate in sales meetings.
* Generate detailed monthly and annual reports for management.
* Provide feedback to Product Management and Innovation teams on product improvements and future development needs to maintain a competitive edge.
* Contribute to the development of new products for emerging strategic markets.
Skills and Qualities:
* Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) technology, including the ability to explain and demonstrate its features and benefits to customers.
* Highly motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying new customers and business opportunities.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Willingness to travel and work internationally.
* Proficient IT skills (experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce is a plus).
* Ability to regularly update and maintain company CRM systems.
* Strong decision-making, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
* Experience in writing detailed reports.
* Fluency in additional languages is advantageous.
