Structural Engineer (Grad2-4) Norwich £34k-£38k plus benefits This small consultancy on the outskirts of Norwich is expanding. They are seeking a graduate structural engineer who has at least 2 years' experience with a strong understanding of design principals. Our client provides practical, creative and sustainable engineering and, due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their team. Role Overview: As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers to deliver high-quality structural designs across various sectors. You will be involved in all stages of the project life cycle, from concept through to completion, gaining hands-on experience and the opportunity to make a real impact on the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the design and analysis of building structures in a range of materials (concrete, steel, timber, etc.) Develop and review structural calculations and drawings Contribute to site visits, surveys, and inspections Collaborate with the design team, architects, and clients to ensure projects meet technical and regulatory requirements Manage and maintain project documentation Support senior engineers in the preparation of reports and technical documentation Key Requirements: A degree in Structural Engineering (or closely related field) 2-4 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering Familiarity with structural design software (e.g., Tekla, Revit, and/or AutoCAD) Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the practice Full UK driving license (due to occasional site visits) On offer is a competitive salary, ongoing training and a collaborative working environment.
