About the Role
As a Systems Architect Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping technical solutions across multiple sectors, applying systems thinking to tackle large-scale, high-impact projects. Working closely with stakeholders, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge architectures that align with business and technical objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement system architectures for complex projects.
2. Apply model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools.
3. Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.
5. Ensure compliance with industry frameworks and best practices.
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems architecture methodologies.
Key Requirements:
1. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Systems Architecture, Systems Engineering, or a similar field.
2. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations effectively.
3. Proficiency in MBSE tools and methodologies (e.g., Sparx EA, MagicDraw, SysML, Archimate, TOGAF, MODAF, DoDAF, NAF, etc.).
4. A proven track record of working across an engineering enterprise at different stages of the systems engineering lifecycle.
5. Experience in defining system boundaries, managing interdependencies, and developing robust architecture frameworks.
6. Must hold active security clearance.
7. Experience in defence, security, transport, energy, or public sector projects.
8. Knowledge of open architecture principles and best practices.
9. Familiarity with AI, data analysis, or machine learning applications within systems engineering.
