Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines, reporting any anomalies to your line manager within agreed timescales.
* Ensure that personal and team KPI’s/KRI’s/MIR are met, assisting in collation of MI and highlighting any issues to management.
* Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant and escalating any issues.
* Log, maintain, and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
* Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements to enhance client service. Participate in and contribute to any ad-hoc project-related work where necessary.
* Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensure high-quality service levels are delivered, including data input, document checking, and payments.
* Support and provide cover for other members of the team and wider department as required.
* Assist with training new recruits to the team in BAU activities, acting as a positive role model.
* Ensure that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities and that all interactions are conducted in an open and transparent manner.
* Demonstrate an understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework.
* Maintain and develop knowledge and skills in line with industry, regulatory, and internal requirements through regular CPD.
* Operate in accordance with division's policies and procedures manuals.
* Any other duties as required.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience within a financial services institution, especially in Operations, is advantageous but not essential.
* Demonstrable interest in financial services and particularly investment management.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
* Ability to work well in a team and also independently.
* Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
* Ability to solve problems quickly.
* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
* Respond to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner, providing a high level of customer service.
