We are looking to recruit an experienced, friendly administrator to join the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Administration Team based at Albion Road Clinic, North Shields. Our multi-disciplinary team are here to help children and young people and their families within North Tyneside. Applicants must have the ability to work as part of the existing team in a calm, welcoming and professional manner and work well under pressure.
The role will also consist of other administrative duties within the wider admin team, checking data quality report as well as occasional reception cover.

We are looking for a pro-active, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our busy admin team working with Consultant Psychiatrists, Consultant Psychologists and other clinicians within the department. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to provide administrative support to the CAMHS clinicians, admin and management team. Excellent communication, organisation and customer care skills, as well as computer literacy, are essential.
The role involves a wide variety of tasks including checking data quality report, attending meetings, manage spreadsheets, occasionally meeting and greeting patients and carers on arrival to the clinic, answering telephone enquiries, recording attendances to the department on a computerised system, and completing outcomes from appointments. Along with other general admin duties. Diary management is also desirable.

To provide an efficient administration and clerical service to unit staff, visitors and patients for CAMHS attenders.
To provide a reception service, acting as first point of contact on the telephone or face to face, for patients, visitors and other healthcare professionals.
To facilitate good communication with other teams involved in patient care.
Appropriate and safe use of office equipment.
Help maintain referrals to external providers for waiting list patients.
