Packaging Technologist Vitaflo (International) Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Packaging Technologist to work at our Liverpool Headquarters on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly into the Industrialisation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring packaging compliance to relevant packaging regulations (e.g. PPWR, PPT, EPR) and collating and providing the appropriate technical information to our International teams as part of assessments against these regulations. You would also be responsible for managing packaging specifications and compliance documentation for both new and existing packaging formats. Proactively identify key areas to improve business processes and support packaging sustainability initiatives. What will you do? As a Packaging Technologist,your main responsibilities will consist of the following: Working with our Regulatory and International teams to ensure Vitaflo packaging and packaging information complies with relevant packaging regulations (e.g. PPWR, PPT, EPR) Keep up to date with changes and introduction of packaging legislation, developing & maintaining a roadmap for compliance of all packaging in accordance with relevant changes to new legislation Managing and creating packaging specifications for existing and new packaging formats Identify and develop compliance testing protocol & schedule for existing and new packaging Support the Industrialisation team by attending trials, supervising routine production or new packaging format trials Who are we looking for? Knowledge of and/or interest in packaging regulations (e.g. PPWR, PPT, EPR) and compliance of packaging to these regulations Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Science or Technology Previous experience in a packaging / technical role Strong analytical mindset Great team player with excellent communication skills both internally and externally Results focused with the ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines Excellent attention to detail that reflects thorough and accurate work Able to build strong relationships with immediate team and key stakeholders Proficient in IT packages inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Ability to be flexible, agile, innovative and problem solve Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team What we offer?
