Accounts and Office Administrator (part time)
Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme
Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 9am – 5pm
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Hourly rate: £16 - £17 per hour
The role:
We are collaborating with our client in the search for an Accounts and Office Administrator, responsible for managing daily financial tasks and supporting general office operations. Responsibilities include invoicing, bookkeeping, data entry, and administrative support. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to assist with various tasks.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing
* Perform daily bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
* Handle general office administration, including filing, correspondence, and supply management
* Assist with HR tasks such as maintaining employee records and onboarding
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and external accountants as needed
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations
About you:
* Positive and can-do attitude
* Experience with Sage (Job Costing is a bonus)
* Driving license and ability to run occasional errands
* Strong customer service skills, including answering phones and greeting visitors
* Flexible and willing to assist with various tasks
