Leading cosmetics manufacturing company is looking for QA Coordinators to join the team!
Location: Scarborough (Eglinton & Warden)
Duration: 3 months to 6 months
Shift hours: 7:30 AM to 4 PM
Purpose and Scope:
To perform administrative duties in the QA department and assist the department manager in other functions and quality activities.
Responsibilities:
* Creates and manages the template and database of all Certificate of Analysis (COAs) for bulk, semi-finished goods, and finished goods.
* Submits timely reports and analysis data to clients when required.
* Provides COAs to clients, acts as the main contact for all communications regarding COAs. Manages phone calls, emails, and correspondence with the clients regarding FG approvals.
* Files all BPRs and corresponding paperwork, scans quality records.
* Archives FG retain samples.
* Tracks pre-ship samples and follows up with clients on a timely basis.
* Tracks FG approvals and distributes approvals.
* Issues all corresponding paperwork.
* Acts as a backup for Batch Production Records (BPR) review.
* Performs other QA/QC related duties as assigned, such as:
o Sampling, inspection, and release of incoming packaging components.
o AQL sampling and inspection of FGs.
o Support line inspections for powder pressing and filling/packing lines.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
* College Diploma, preferably in office administration.
* Preferably a minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Product Manufacturing, or Packaging in cosmetics or pharmaceutical quality control.
Other Skills Required:
* Good working knowledge of SOPs, GMPs, and cGMPs applicable to Quality Manufacturing and Packaging.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent Microsoft computer skills, proficiency in MS Office applications.
