We are looking for an organised Clinical Administrator with a passion for making a difference to others.
Proposed start date - April 2025
You'll be working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday (09:00 am till 05:00 pm), helping ensure the safe and smooth running of services for the people in our care.
You will be working at Cygnet Heathers and Meadow Mews, Cygnet Heathers is a 20-bed service providing neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative rehabilitation for men with mental health difficulties and acquired brain injury. Cygnet Meadow Mews is a 10-bed enhanced community residential service for men with neuropsychiatric or neurodegenerative conditions, who may have behaviours that challenge alongside additional social and complex needs.
Your day-to-day...
1. Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support.
2. Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Hospital. Act as a positive role model, maintaining and demonstrating a positive attitude towards Clients, their families, visitors, and other staff.
3. Ensure effective communication and working relationships are maintained within the hospital and between Funders and Commissioners, patients, and relatives regarding admissions, meetings, and any other queries.
4. Attend Patient review meetings and document minutes.
5. Ensure all medical records are maintained, stored, and archived to a high standard.
6. Maintain close working relationships with clinical commissioning groups.
7. Responsible for entering data on E-Census.
8. Take minutes of meetings as required - arrange CPAs, discharge meetings, and professionals meetings.
9. Complete administration tasks for the Responsible clinician.
10. Manage patients' finances within the hospital with the support of Head of Care.
11. Handle E-Census, Funding, and billing forms for patients.
12. Provide reception cover where required.
13. Archive patient records.
14. Complete discharge surveys for patients.

You are...
1. An administrator with experience in healthcare & knowledge of mental health.
2. Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions.
3. Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative.
4. A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet.
