About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Care Manager to lead and manage our Exeter Hub, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of care and customer service. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the new Hub and registered location to ensure it is efficient, profitable, and compliant with CQC regulatory standards. Your role will involve leading and developing a team of carers, fostering their professional growth, and ensuring a person-centred approach to care. You will be responsible for securing new business, recruiting and training staff, and promoting the welfare of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the setup of our new care hub and registered location, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
2. Manage the branch operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability whilst maintaining a high standard of care.
3. Lead recruitment efforts to maintain and expand the team of carers.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support business growth.
5. Oversee the implementation of care plans and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.
6. Provide support and training to staff to ensure their ongoing development.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in care management and an in-depth understanding of the regulatory landscape. You should have experience leading a team within a domiciliary care environment or care home, and be passionate about providing high-quality care.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
1. Hold CQC Registered Manager status.
2. Level 5 NVQ in Management in Care (or willingness to work towards this).
3. Experience working within the care sector at a management level.
4. Knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices.
5. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
6. Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
7. Innovative mindset, able to launch a new care Hub under own initiative and liaise with senior management.
