Advanced Practitioner MRI Radiographer- Reporting

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MRI Reporting Radiographer to join the team of Advanced practitioner MRI Radiographers and work collaboratively with a team of experienced Senior MRI Radiographers and consultant colleagues across Radiology and meeting the reporting KPI.
We are a very busy department currently housing Siemens Sola 1.5T scanner with advanced AI technologies to support patient care. The MRI service at East Kent Hospitals extends to the other three main hospitals where we have a Philips Ambition XT 1.5T scanner with potentially an additional scanner to be installed soon, 2 x Aera 1.5T and 2 x 3T Skyra providing a 7-day service along with a fleet of mobile scanners from external providers.

Main duties of the job
This is a very exciting opportunity to be involved in Radiographers based reporting service and engage in internal projects to help install and establish new services in the trust. The MRI service is open from 08:00 to 20:00 Hours, 7 days a week. A large range of MR imaging is undertaken, including basic Cardio/vascular MRI imaging.
The post holder will be required to carry out a wide range of clinical/reporting duties as an advanced practitioner, acting on their own initiative, and using a wide range of professional, analytical, and reasoning skills when judging a variety of complex clinical, staff, and operational problems. Leading and supervising the MRI reporting team with responsibilities for maintaining their own Reporting targets.

The MRI department at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of high-quality imaging for the community and the wider population in East Kent. Our static MRI services are based at The William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent, Canterbury Hospital in Canterbury, and The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital at Margate. The MRI service is continuing to develop and expand to support our community. Our recently opened Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) is based at Buckland Hospital, Dover, and continues to expand its service across East Kent.
A flexible approach to the working day is essential. The successful candidate will be a HCPC Registered Radiographer with a wealth of MR experience, both clinically and organisationally.

Person Specification
Educational Qualifications
* BSc Degree in Diagnostic Radiology or Equivalent
* Leadership and Management Qualifications
* Post Graduate Master Level Qualification in MRI Clinical Reporting
Experience in Clinical Imaging
* 5-7 years of experience in MRI within the capacity of Senior MRI Radiographer
* Proven supervisory experience in a busy MRI department
