Orion are currently working with an innovative electrical manufacturing company based in Yorkshire. Our client supplies their products into many industries with the main focus being the Railway.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can develop client relationships within the Rail industry and introduce new digital marketing tools to expand the database and business.
Business Development Manager Roles & Responsibilities:
* Provides technical support for existing client database
* Drive business growth by analysing trends
* Management of multiple accounts
* New business development
* Strategic planning
* Rail market research
* Lead generation
* Introduce new digital marketing tools to increase sales productivity & demographic reach
* Technical strategy of social media
* Supplier management
* General support across the technical & sales team
* Responding to consumer and customer queries in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that the reputation of the company is maintained throughout
* Provide support for the Bidding Manager
Business Development Manager Required Experience:
* Strong background in the rail industry
* Digital marketing expertise
* Technical understanding
* Strategic thinking & planning
* Market analysis and research
* Strong ability to interpret data and identify trends
* Bids & Proposal experience
* Account & Stakeholder management
Business Development Manager Package:
* Competitive Salary £45,000 - £55,000
* 23 day holiday allowance + bank holidays
* Pension contribution
* Onsite parking
Business Development Manager Shifts:
Monday to Friday, Core office hours
