Benefits: Fantastic per annum basic (DOE) Death in service scheme 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Monday to Friday opportunity Permanent Opportunity Job Responsibilities: The core function and responsibility of the Production Coordinator is plan and coordinate Production activities onsite, ensuring the smooth completion of customer orders, in full and to agreed timeframes. Organising packing and carriage for jobs on a day-to-day basis. The successful applicant will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the facility, as well as ensuring stock levels are maintained Putting on sales & purchase orders (including bill of materials for non-standard items) Running picking lists/delivery notes Entering shipping details and printing shipping labels Planning production & coordinating workshop staff Liaising with carriers and haulers regarding the status of jobs and organising collections Liaising with the sales team - orders pending, advance notification of problems/delays etc. Container tracking and reporting Ordering consumables Maintaining stock levels Ensuring H&S procedures are strictly followed General batch control of stocked items Ensuring quality assurance procedures are followed Responsibility of ensuring the warehouse is locked prior to leaving if the earlier shift has finished Weekend work may be required Any other duties as reasonably required. Technical Knowledge / Qualifications: Experience within a Planning role is essential Experience within a Manufacturing environment is essential Previous supervisory experience is desirable Must be a strong communicator who can quickly establish relationships at all levels Able to work well within a team and liaise effectively with internal departments Proficient using MS Office packages (word, excel, outlook) Own transport is essential due to location FLT License is desirable If you have not heard from us within 48 hours, then please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
