The Role
As a Maintenace Manager you will play a key role in ensuring efficient maintenance operations up to hotel brand standards, provide excellent guest experience and achieve 100% guest satisfaction.
Your key duties will include:
* Manage the manentance service and team, by planning and allocating work duties to Team Members to ensure good productivety, room availability and guest satisifcation.
* Lead by example by participating in hands-on maintenance tasks as appropriate and act as point of contact as expert for maintenance related jobs.
* Report and log any maintenance defects found in the rooms and assigned areas.
* Manage, efficiently, stock control and the maintenance of equipment
* Inspect guest rooms, public areas, etc. to ensure quality standards.
* Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Front Office.
* Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
* Assist management in training, scheduling, follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
* Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
* Work with Operations Manager to ensure sound Health, Safety and Security practices, and oversee emergency and evaucation procedures.
What weneed from you
* As well as having previous experience in Facilities Management role, with appropriate knowledge and/or qualififcationa (eg: H&S, legionella, plumbing, electrical etc). Youll have an absolute commitment to delivering exceptional level of guest service, a charismatic personality with good communication and organisational skills. Youll have a can-do attitude and be able to respond flexibly to different guest requests and situations. A good command of the English language is essential.
