About the job: To provide product, technical and processing support in respect of financial services provided by or through the Club. This role involves conducting detailed research into competitor activities and member feedback, enabling the creation of insightful findings, analysis, and actionable recommendations. Additionally, the role includes supporting the development of new products and contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
Key Tasks/Accountabilities:
* Provide technical product support to the team and contact centre. Manage internal and external queries to successful resolution.
* Support the Technical Product Manager and others with competitor research work. Undertake regular reviews of competitors and products, and ad hoc research / reviews as required. Present comprehensive findings in an easy to understand format.
* Through query management, member feedback tracking and call listening identify gaps in knowledge / products / processes. Report findings with recommendations. Ensure agreed actions are tracked to completion.
* Support the delivery of projects working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as undertaking small projects independently.
* Deputise for sign off of documentation/marketing and promotional activity.
* Provide administrative support for products and to product managers. This may include but not be limited to: organising meetings, producing slide packs for meetings, taking minutes, managing stock control, getting costs & approvals, managing action logs and ensuring actions are followed up and through to completion, collating and analysing information, monitoring and reporting on the performance of products.
* Conduct medical screenings for Red Pennant travel insurance and support the Contact Centre and Emergency Services team - recording and reporting information. Analyse trends and make recommendations for efficiency and member experience improvements.
* Attend and present at internal and external meetings, bringing technical expertise and contribution.
* Support with ensuring all IFS customer documentation is accurate and easy to understand.
* Provide support to the department's Claims & Complaints team e.g. through sending NPS surveys, keeping site incident and accident logs updated & managing the invoicing of members, issuing complaint acknowledgements and providing updates to members.
* Ensure processes / procedures / guides for the team and Contact Centre (where appropriate) are adequately documented, kept up to date, version controlled and reviewed at least annually.
* Represent the Club and I&FS department at events and exhibitions, in particular the Caravan and Motorhome Shows and ClubFest (this includes weekends).
* Complete a minimum of 15 hours continuous professional development each calendar year, or more as required by regulation or needed to ensure sufficient regulatory and product knowledge competence.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services products and the competitor market place - ideally with caravan / travel / breakdown / motorhome experience.
* Research - competitor and customer - analysis of research and presenting findings.
* Experience of analysing information and overlaying data from different sources and systems.
* Experience of writing insurance policy wordings and/or other technical customer documentation.
* Experience of undertaking competitor analysis work and reporting on insights with recommended actions.
* Management of customer service queries (directly with customers and through others) using various communication methods.
* Documenting processes and procedures and the maintenance of good governance and controls.
* Good knowledge of FCA compliance and its practical application.
* Use of Google Suite.
