MFL Teacher (French/Spanish) - Sutton (Outer London Pay Scale)
Teaching Personnel's PWR team need a dedicated, enthusiastic, and culturally aware MFL Teacher (French/Spanish) to join a supportive and progressive school in Sutton. This role provides the opportunity to inspire students with a passion for languages and cultures, fostering a global perspective. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting cultural understanding and awareness, and contributing to language-based extracurricular activities.
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies.
* Promote cultural understanding and awareness, encouraging students to explore the French and/or Spanish-speaking world.
* Contribute to language-based extracurricular activities, enriching the learning experience for all students
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to support students.
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and learning.
* Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and engagement.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
* Participate in relevant professional development opportunities.
* Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Uphold the schools ethos and values.
