The Secret Beach Bar and Kitchen is part of The Secret Hospitality Group - a group of restaurants based in South Wales which is the fastest growing and largest hospitality group in the area.
Our restaurants all fall under our motto of 'unique venues in spectacular locations' and The Secret, being our original venue, is at the heart of them all. Situated on the beachfront with breathtaking, uninterrupted views of Swansea Bay, it is a delightful place to work, albeit the view is just a bonus! We offer a modern casual dining experience welcoming anyone from families, dogs and their walkers, large groups, meetings, and occasion meals. It really is the perfect setting for all occasions, serving fresh, vibrant, and modern dishes in a fast-paced, high turnover fashion - naturally at its busiest during the sunny spells and school holidays due to its desirable and popular location.
We are on the lookout for an experienced Front of House/General Manager to join our team and help propel The Secret and its staff to an even higher standard as we constantly look to excel and push ourselves to provide the absolute best service we can for our customers - the opportunities really are endless.
What we are looking for...
1. Someone experienced, knowledgeable, and comfortable running a large and busy restaurant.
2. Our Manager needs to have excellent team skills and be able to manage a large team of casual and core staff. We really care about our staff, and it is imperative that you do too!
3. We want you to be inspiring to your team, lead by example, think on your feet, and work hard.
4. Flexibility is essential; our opening times vary throughout the week but range between 9am and 10pm, and we are open 7 days a week. Weekends are of course our busiest as well as school holidays, and although you will have Assistant Managers and Team Leaders in place, a Manager's presence at our busiest times is essential.
