Key Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing active travel projects from inception to completion
Ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of highway projects
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
Providing both project and programme management services
Supporting junior project managers and assistant project managers in their duties
Preparing detailed project reports and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations
Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through excellent communication and service
Job Requirements:
Experience in active travel project management within the highways sector
Proven track record in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
Strong understanding of project and programme management principles
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead and support a team, including assisting junior members
Proficiency in preparing and analysing detailed project reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
