Site managers needed for a project in Corsham. Wiltshire.
Site Managers and Working Foremen will undertake a hands-on role whilst overseeing site developments on fuel and electric vehicle charging forecourts, which will include shop extensions, knock down re-build of service stations and commercial refurbishment projects.
Site Managers oversee site activities, provide support and encourage development within the team. They are responsible for on-site Client and Company relationships, ensuring both meet their business needs by cost-effective site management and ensuring that jobs finish on time with minimum disruption to the Client, Customers and the General Public.
Site Managers lead by example, practice the highest standards of Health & Safety and Accident Prevention, in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act and the management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations and any relevant Health and Safety Legislation applicable to the works being undertaken.
They are expected to mentor apprentices and trainees, oversee their development and provide feedback and recommendations to Human Resources for their further training and development.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
· Previous experience in Construction Site Manager or Foreman Role
· Current SMSTS
· Extensive and Wide Ranging Hands on Construction Skills
· Holder of a full UK driving licence
· Intermediate Level IT Skills (Microsoft Office)
· Good problem solver.
· Good communication numeracy, and literacy skills
· Well organised and good time management
· Able to work in a team environment
· Good level of physical fitness
