Come make a real difference as our Assistant Director of Neighbourhoods!
Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As our new Assistant Director of Neighbourhoods, you’ll play a starring role in making this a reality for thousands of people living in our communities.
Working closely with our tenants and your team, you will drive a culture of great customer experience and exceptional, localised neighbourhood housing services. Leading by example, you’ll make sure that our team take a human centric approach that puts our tenants at the heart of everything they do.
As part of our senior leadership team, you’ll work across the organisation to help us shape customer-focussed services that are designed in partnership with our tenants. You’ll use your influence to ensure that their thoughts, opinions and needs are embedded in the decisions we make every day. As a leader, you’ll take a people first approach. You’ll provide support and guidance to colleagues and get to know our tenants and their families and do the right things, even when it’s not easy. Helping the team to advocate on tenants behalf with internal teams and other partners, where needed.
You’ll use feedback from our tenants alongside your own knowledge and expertise to develop strategies and plans that improve the services we provide, deliver a great customer experience and help us create neighbourhoods where people love to live.
What you’ll bring to the team
You’ll bring a human centric approach to the team, ensuring that everyone feels valued, heard and has the support they need to do a great job for our tenants. You’ll be focussed on providing a great customer experience and driving improvements across your teams and the rest of the organisation and you’ll put customers at the heart of everything you do.
As a senior leader, you’ll be dynamic, and values-driven with the ability to inspire and support the team to do the best for our tenants – helping them develop and grow in their roles.
What we are looking for
* An exceptional senior leader who can lead and motivate our team to deliver first-class services.
* Someone with the drive to deliver our neighbourhood team vision and bring the team with them.
* A customer champion who will put our tenants first and makes sure this is embedded across our team so that tenants feel this.
* A problem solver who helps break down barriers to help provide seamless services for our tenants.
* The ability to listen and learn but most importantly to act on what you’re hearing.
About the team
The housing team is the heartbeat of Two Rivers Housing. It is fundamental to everything we do and plays a key role in advocating for our tenants. Whether it’s working with the wider team to get repairs or home improvements completed or reaching out to our local partners to find additional support – doing the right thing for our tenants is at the heart of everything this team does.
We’ve listened to our tenants about what they need from the housing team now and in the future. Using this feedback, we’ve started to reshape the team to enable us to provide truly localised neighbourhood housing services.
Our housing team are pretty amazing, and now we have some new exciting opportunities for people to come and join them!
We have redesigned the service to allow us to have more time to be present in our neighbourhoods and really get to know our tenants more focus on problem solving and nipping issues in the bud, and working more closely with other teams and partner organisations, for the benefit of our tenants and neighbourhoods. This means we have some great new roles to advertise over the next few weeks.
So, if you’re looking to make a real difference in your community and want to be part of a great team get in touch!
