As the TBM Lead, you will oversee the introduction and embedding of TBM practices, ensuring alignment with our strategies and enabling greater transparency into technology costs and performance. Working at the intersection of technology and finance, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including VMO, Architecture, and Enterprise teams, to achieve strategic goals. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing financial transparency, optimising technology investments, and supporting our overall business objectives. What Do We Need From You? TBM Implementation: Lead the introduction of TBM, ensuring alignment with the strategic roadmap and overseeing daily operations of the TBM Office. Strategic Alignment: Ensure technology initiatives support the organisation’s strategic goals, working with architects to optimise capabilities and manage costs effectively. Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis of technology expenditures. Cost Transparency: Implement frameworks to provide insights into technology costs and their impact on business outcomes. Collaborate with teams to develop and report on total cost of ownership. Data Management: Manage data collection and analysis to drive decision-making and predictive modelling. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with executives, finance, and IT teams to align technology initiatives with business needs. Optimisation: Identify opportunities to optimise technology costs and improve efficiency. Reporting: Develop and deliver regular reports on technology spending and performance. Change Management: Lead efforts to integrate TBM practices across the organisation, ensuring smooth transitions. Governance: Establish and enforce governance policies for technology investments. Skills and Experience Required Proven leadership experience in managing TBM roadmap initiatives. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate with clients, peers, and teams across the organisation. Experience in risk management and conflict resolution within a matrix environment. Knowledge of technology systems management, including budgeting, licensing, pricing models, and contractual structures. Expertise in assessing and optimising technology costs and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to develop clear, timely, and accurate reports and analyses.
