📍 100% Remote - UK-based
🔹 Team: South East & Wales - Companion Animal
🔹 Reporting to: Area Business Manager - South East Companion Animal
🔹 Business Unit: Companion Animal
🔹 Managed Resources: No direct reports
This role is ideal for a goal-oriented, proactive professional who enjoys virtual selling and is comfortable working closely with veterinary practices and corporate accounts via phone and online meetings. You will be responsible for:
🌟 Your Key Responsibilities
✔ Sales & Account Management
* Sell designated companion animal product lines to independent veterinary practices and corporate accounts.
* Develop tailored account plans in collaboration with Area Business Managers and Sales Teams.
* Identify growth opportunities through data analysis and strategic planning.
* Use the Solution Selling model to connect customer needs with Zoetis products and services.
* Deliver on sales targets, revenue growth, and market share expansion.
* Ensure all call activity and customer interactions are recorded in CRM systems.
✔ Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
* Conduct virtual meetings and calls with customers, rather than in-person visits.
* Maintain high-quality interactions and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Collect customer consents to allow for more digital marketing engagement.
* Identify when to introduce additional Zoetis experts (such as technical or key account managers) to enhance customer support.
* Leverage Zoetis marketing programs and seasonal campaigns to maximize opportunities.
✔ Market & Product Expertise
* Maintain deep knowledge of Zoetis' evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing, and industry trends.
* Keep up with competitor insights and industry shifts.
* Continuously develop and refine sales techniques to stay ahead.
✔ Compliance & Professionalism
* Ensure high ethical standards and compliance with Zoetis policies, including Pharmacovigilance and AMTRA certification within three years.
* Accurately manage budgets and resources to ensure responsible spending.
🔑 What We're Looking For
✅ Experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles - experience in animal health or veterinary industries is beneficial but not required.
✅ Strong communication & influencing skills - ability to build meaningful relationships.
✅ Self-motivated & resilient - thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative.
✅ Comfortable with virtual selling - ability to engage customers effectively via phone and online platforms.
✅ Tech-savvy & organized - ability to analyze customer data and maintain detailed records in CRM systems.
