Teaching Assistant Teaching Personnel are recruiting exclusively for a Secondary School in Biggleswade who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join them on a temporary contract. Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire Start date: ASAP Contract: Temporary contract (4-8 weeks) Pay : £83.85-£90 per day Are you passionate about supporting children? Do you have the natural ability to engage with special needs? This is temporary but exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join a secondary academy in Biggleswade. The full-time contract would last a minimum of 4 weeks, possibly extending to 8 weeks from 24th March 2025 to May 2025. Could this be you? The Teaching Assistant will support the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities, assisting with lesson planning, and providing one-on-one support to students. Responsibilities include helping with classroom management, preparing materials for lessons, and supervising students during activities. We would also love to see Passion for supporting SEND Calm, Approachable and friendly attitude Natural ability to build relationships and support engagement of students Good general knowledge of Maths and English A 'can do' and positive attitude to inspire pupils An ability to motivate and inspire, whilst using your own initiative Willingness to learn and support others High levels of resilience and emotional intelligence A minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths is required. Additional qualifications in childcare or education are desirable.
