About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our clients team and lead the delivery of a student accommodation project in the heart of Bristol City Centre. This exciting opportunity involves managing all stages of the project, from planning and design through to completion. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the project meets high standards of quality, budget, and schedule, while navigating the specific needs of student accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial concept and planning to construction and handover.
* Manage and coordinate the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
* Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance procedures.
* Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients.
* Identify and resolve issues or risks that may affect project timelines or objectives.
* Liaise with architects, engineers, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
* Implement project management best practices and industry standards to achieve successful project delivery.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager on student accommodation, social housing, or similar residential projects.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and project management techniques.
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage complex, fast-paced projects.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A relevant degree or professional qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
* Experience managing budgets and schedules effectively.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations and sustainable building practices.
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and engage with various stakeholders.
