What you will be doing
as a Temporary Group Financial Accountant
1. Business partner for the Director of Property, supporting the accounting for Property Sales and Property Services
2. Production of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets – P&L and Balance Sheet - for all property companies and the property cost centres within the main trading entity
3. Creation of high-quality monthly reports, analysis and commentary on performance for review with the CFO enabling successful financial decision making
4. Provide guidance over intergroup transactions and ensure that amounts are charged on an arm’s length basis
5. Produce technical accounting papers for any property sales and non-standard transactions
6. Day-to-day management of property companies and property cost centres within the main trading entity, including processing of journals and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
7. Preparation of annual financial statements for property entities and supporting the Group year end close
8. Lead on property deliverables for the Annual Performance Report
9. Support ad hoc projects for Group Finance including controls improvement
10. Key point of contact for internal property services provider and external auditors in relation to property requests
What you should bring to the role?
11. You should be a qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
12. Possess good experience with IFRS.
13. Strong Excel skills, SAP and HFM would be a bonus.
14. Solid budget and forecast experience.
15. Previous experience of property accounting and accounting judgement preparations.
