Business Analyst - Insurance Technology / Broker Management Systems - Hybrid (South Birmingham) £55,000 - £60,000 Benefits | Hybrid Working | Progression Pathways Are you a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in system integrations, process improvement, and change delivery within the insurance or financial services sector? We're looking for a Business Analyst to join a high-performing team focused on improving operational efficiency and supporting the optimisation of business systems, with a particular emphasis on Broker Management Systems (Acturis experience is a bonus). As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with insurance, operations, and technology teams to evaluate system needs, define business requirements, and ensure optimal integration of applications and workflows. You will provide support across training, workflow documentation, analysis, and process improvement-driving efficiencies across multiple projects and teams. Key Responsibilities: Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities for process optimisation. Develop Business Requirement Specifications and user stories. Support training initiatives and help create reference documentation. Collaborate with stakeholders across insurance, IT, and operations to align system functionality with business needs. Lead configuration, testing, and change operations across integrated platforms. Act as a subject matter expert on Broker Management Systems and associated digital tools. Essential Skills and Experience: 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in insurance or financial services. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles and Agile (Scrum) methodologies. Experience with Acturis or other Broker Management Systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable managing multiple projects, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience with Microsoft Project, SmartSheet, SQL Server, Power BI, ServiceNow.
