We are looking for a Workshop Technician to join our Workshop Surface Solutions team. This position is full-time and will be based in Blackburn, Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain a wide range of Archer Surface Solutions equipment including HPUs, Centrifugal Pumps and Magnoveyor units.
2. Assess technical and personal risk during repair and maintenance processes.
3. Ensure that all equipment used in support of ARCHER operations is serviceable, fit-for-purpose, compliant with client specifications and is correctly certified.
4. Ensure all equipment is prepared in accordance with maintenance procedures and checklists followed correctly.
5. Pressure testing of Archer equipment.
6. Ensure spares stock is controlled and levels are maintained.
7. Assist in planning of equipment allocation and certification.
8. Ensure assets are tracked upon arrival and site allocation.
9. Lead safety culture with focus on Archer's five core values in line with other workshop personnel.
10. Support other workshop tasks as required.
Candidate Required Qualifications/Skills
1. Have technical trade training recognized by the industry.
2. Full UK driving licence.
3. Hydraulic repair and maintenance.
4. Pneumatic (Basic) repair and maintenance.
5. Pressure Testing experience.
6. Ability to understand technical drawings.
7. Good computer skills with basic Word and Excel experience.
8. Able to work on own initiative as well as in a team environment.
Advantageous Skills
1. Experience in handling magnetic equipment.
2. Centrifugal Pump maintenance and repair.
3. Overhead crane experience.
