Position Overview: We’re looking for a Customer Support & Demand Planning Manager to work with our sales and operations teams to provide a best-in-class service to customers. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for delivering customer service levels- inventory targets and costs while driving growth through commercialization and supporting productivity objectives. The position has remote direct reports over 3 continents who are responsible for customer support and logistics. This role will interact with toll manufacturing, account manager & sales, supplier and logistics providers to support the operational functions of the business. This position will need to improve current business practices and develop strong working relationships with business partners in delivery of OTIF and OPEX targets with a total cost management approach. The objective is to optimize the balance between supply availability, cost, inventory investment and risk with lengthy supply chains. Position leads the development and execution of inventory replenishment strategies that consider supplier/manufacturing capabilities, capacity constraints and costs while insuring an uninterrupted supply of product to Anitox customers to deliver all customer service targets. The position must maintain a strong working relationship with all constituents to insure that changes and activities are managed on a timely and cost effective basis. Primary Responsibilities: Provide single-point accountability and leadership for all supply planning and logistics for EMEA & Asia Pacific. Manages the risks associated with volatility of both demand and supply. Key responsibilities include managing the resources that perform Production Planning/Master Scheduling activities to deliver service, cost, and cash objectives. Works’ cross-functionally to identify losses and improvements across the Value Stream, develop plans to mitigate problems and losses, and then ensure execution of those plans. Manages team by placing value on discipline in execution of standard work, bias for action in delivery customer excellence and cross-functional collaboration. Creates an environment of continuous improvement with emphasis placed on building a culture of personal ownership Identify capacity constraints across next 3 years and align on solutions to resolve. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5 years supply chain experience Bachelor of Science in supply chain- operations or related discipline preferred QAD or other ERP/APS software experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required. Has strong understanding of supply chain, global logistics/shipping and manufacturing environments. Possesses strong cross-functional leadership capability. Succeeds at influencing a wide spectrum of stakeholders. The ability to lead and develop a team with a continuous improvement mindset. Strong people management skills that not only fosters an environment of team success but individual accomplishments as well.
