Leading utilities contractor with an emphasis on high voltage (HV) projects requires a Streetworks Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that the business complies with the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act, as well as permit regulations. This will involve documenting and managing any fines surrounding the NRSWA and Traffic Management acts. Providing detailed reports and KPIs relating to fines and legislation will be a key aspect of the role, along with attendance at relevant meetings. Further responsibilities will include assisting in the management of the streetworks team, which is responsible for permits to work and coordination of streetworks activities. Managing fines through spreadsheets and reports Disputing and negotiating fines within set timescales Dealing with FPNs, defects, Section 74 charges in a timely manner Prepare invoices and ensure payments are made on time Help with permitting and coordination of Section 50's and Section 81's Help assess traffic management drawings before permit requests are sent to the team Help with the management of openings, closings and streetwork permit registrations Liaise with local authorities for smooth coordination of streetworks Assist with the coordination of third parties for bus stop suspensions, parking suspensions and road closures Experience required: Background working on streetworks permitting, coordination and compliance in the civils / utilities sectors Strong knowledge of NRSWA, traffic management and LoPS legislation Proficiency with Symology - Insight / Aurora and Street Works Permitting Excellent communication, liaison and time management skills Apply to Andrew Snelgrove at Deploy.
