Job Description
My client is looking for a Vice President to join their London based distribution team focused on differentiated private credit mandates. You will also have exposure to fund distribution and capital raising around specific assets, JVs, platforms in private equity, infrastructure and real estate.
This is a growth opportunity brought about due to the firm currently working on a broad range of high-quality situations. They therefore need an experienced, creative and entrepreneurial individual looking for the challenge of joining an established business in a niche industry. You will be primarily focused on distribution but will have the ability to get involved in all aspects of the business, including project management, due diligence and origination.
The ideal candidate should have:
* at least 5-8 years of work experience
* a minimum of 3 years of relevant capital raising experience in a client facing sales role within a fund manager or placement agent.
* excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
* the necessary FCA qualifications (CF 30 equivalent) before starting the role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Market mainly credit offerings to European and Middle Eastern investors
* Arrange and attend roadshows with fund managers – ability to travel extensively is a given
* Build strong relationships with the institutional investment community
* Develop specialist knowledge of asset classes and strategies
* Build relationships with fund managers
* Pro-actively source new business opportunities
* Work independently whilst being a strong team player
