Main duties of the job
You will fulfil the role of Deputy Ward Manager in Charge attending to your patients’ needs and supporting the ward manager whilst ensuring a safe environment for excellent care. You must be able to support the needs of our patients, their relatives and carers; which requires excellent communication and liaison skills.
You must have post-registration experience including working within a busy acute environment and have completed mentorship training to be able to mentor students.
You should have the confidence to voice your opinion and views as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be working with a wide range of experienced and friendly professionals, providing high quality of care and compassion.
You will also have excellent interpersonal skills to manage and supervise and lead staff effectively.
