What you’ll be doing as a VIP Events manager: Lead the planning and execution of key in-house events, including Opening Parties, Seasonal Events: Halloween parties, Christmas celebrations, New Year's Eve parties, and brand collaborations. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, brands, and external partners to deliver successful events. Negotiate partnerships with brands for promotional collaborations, product launches, or sponsorship opportunities, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes. Work closely with suppliers to secure the best deals and budgets needed for events. Plan, organise, and oversee exclusive private hires, corporate bookings, and high- profile guest dinners and events. Act as the primary point of contact for clients looking to host special events, offering a personalised service to ensure each occasion exceeds expectations. Coordinate all aspects of guest-driven events, from bespoke menus to entertainment and venue customisation, ensuring a premium experience Develop budgets for each event, managing costs effectively to ensure maximum profitability. Provide post-event analysis, including attendance figures, profitability, and feedback, to inform future event planning. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and other legal aspects of event management. About you, our new VIP Events manager: 5years experience in events management or similar, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with VIP clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Have a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges, ensuring the smooth running of events. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. A passion for hospitality industry and commitment to delivering a high standard of work. This role will require working late evenings and weekends to be present to deliver planned events, based at The Bull in Charlbury with travel to London as and when required.
