HR Manager
Location: Lancashire
Are you an organised and adaptable HR Manager with a real love for the food industry? You will be a central figure in a talented HR team – working with a growing workforce of 400+. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career.
You will be responsible for supporting the site management team to deliver an effective people strategy, which aligns with the overall business aims and objectives. Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop strategies in conjunction with the site management team to improve the employee experience across the site.
2. Manage the temporary resourcing strategy, contributing to a reduction in labour cost per tonne targets.
3. Deliver end-to-end case management for disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management.
4. Coach and develop managers, providing advice or training where required on a range of employee relations issues.
5. Oversee and support the completion of weekly and monthly payroll processing.
6. Support the General Manager to create a high-performing team.
7. Ensure the site is compliant with all Customer Ethical and Legal requirements at all times.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience in a Generalist HR Management role – at least 3 years.
2. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel skills.
3. CIPD qualified.
4. Experience of working within a manufacturing environment (desirable).
