Job summary Our Day Surgery Team at Prince Philip Hospital and Amman Valley Hospital are forward thinking, dynamic and innovative, and we are looking for a like-minded Scrub practitioner with experience of working within Theatres. We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic band 5 Practitioner who is willing and able to support our Day Surgery Unit, who has initiative and good communication skills. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to a six-day working week, innovative and dynamic in outlook, with a keen sense of team working and eager to learn. Main duties of the job You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care within the Department whilst caring for a group of patients from an array of specialities including but not limited to:- orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, vascular and urology. You will be expected to undertake link roles that you have shown an interest in, and auditing activities as delegated by the Senior Nurse. Applicants must be enthusiastic and a hard-working individual who is looking to play an integral part in the Unit's pro-active team.
