CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering with an established and successful business who are based West of Salisbury, Wiltshire, and operate as part of a large group. Working closely with the Finance Director, the successful candidate will carry out a varied remit of work whilst supervising one transactional finance team member.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
1. Preparation of monthly management accounts;
2. Completion of year end reconciliation and reports, including supporting with statutory accounts;
3. Assist with budgeting & forecasting exercises;
4. Analysis of stock valuations, ensuring accurate records are maintained;
5. Support with project-based tasks and procedure & systems review when required.
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
1. An ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification is not required to be considered for this position;
2. Previous experience working in a similar position within an SME business is required;
3. Flexible approach to work to support the FD;
4. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
