Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £23,362 - £25,368 per annum + Enhancement
Hours: Various - Full time, Part time, As & When
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Highlands – within a 25 mile radius of your home address

This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team and help deliver care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses while also offering vital emotional support for their families. What we are looking for:
* Relevant community experience
* S/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or an equivalent certificate/diploma is desirable
* Emotional strength and the ability to work on your own are crucial, though we will of course provide excellent ongoing training and support.
With experience of End of Life care, you're ready and able to make a real difference. Working without close supervision, you'll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan. You'll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications, keeping detailed records, and providing emotional support to the patient and their families.
