Main Purpose of the Job To deliver engineering projects that enhance or add new products to the existing Avtron portfolio. This will involve the coordination of cross functional team members, suppliers and external customers. Strategically, the successful delivery of these projects will allow us to achieve the Avtron 2025 Mission Goals plus beyond, and focused business growth. Key Responsibilities Managing new product development (NPD&I) following the Avtron gated review process and enhancing this process over time – 1 to 2 live projects at any one time. Running and developing an enhanced UK product change request process ( Launch Pad). This would involve managing 5 to 10 mini projects simultaneously and coordinating the front-end review process, approval cycle and business prioritisation. Coordinating specific / special engineered to order customer enquiries from order receipt through to customer delivery. Qualifications Suitable Project Management qualifications or experience. (Prince 2, APM etc) Suitable engineering qualifications. This would ideally encompass having worked with electrical machinery / products. Proven Skills Track record of delivering technical ‘product’ projects. Min 3 – 5 years’ experience. Ability to set the plan and dive into the detail when required following a PDCA and agile methodology. Track record of driving projects from start to finish, on time, within budget to the agreed quality.
