Procurement Manager Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: c. £60,000, plus excellent benefits package, which includes bonus elements and generous pension and annual leave schemes. Hybrid working applies after initial period. Managing a small team, overseeing the procurement process and ensuring cost efficiency and regulatory compliance, your responsibilities will include: Conduct market sourcing and compliance monitoring to reduce costs and improve performance. Ensure adherence to purchasing, financial, and regulatory procedures. Approve orders/contracts within signing limits; escalate higher value items. Manage tender processes, ensuring regulatory compliance and presenting recommendations. Analyse commercial offers and conduct final negotiations. Set up contracts, purchase orders, and related documentation. Monitor supplier performance, manage disputes, and oversee projects to completion. Experience required: Experience in technical purchasing, ideally gained in a project environment. Team leadership / management experience. Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and strong Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
