Credit Controller
Dudley (Hybrid role 2 fixed days in office 3 days home office)
Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm
Salary - £22,986

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join our established Finance team in Dudley.
Key responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include the following;
1. Maintain own set of accounts of Direct debit customers and ensure collection activity is in line with the current process
2. Ensure accurate collection activity is maintained at all times
3. Ensuring constant improvement against customer satisfaction measures and internal operational measures with regard to the customer’s issues.
4. Proven track record to work without being supervised
5. Manage a high level workload and pick up any ad hoc projects to support the department
6. To manage issues in a timely manner
7. Assist to resolve customer related issues and complaints, including all customer communications
8. Assisting to develop and disseminating appropriate debt information, ensuring outstanding customer queries are thoroughly investigated and escalated through the Credit Control function
9. Assisting in the production of month end reports, KPI reports, together with ad hoc reports as required
10. Escalation of non-standard processes
Requirements
To be considered for the Credit Controller position you will ideally have the following;
11. Previous exposure working in a finance environment, numerate, with the ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex accounts and financial reports.
12. Previous exposure working within collections
13. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst meeting deadlines
14. Show passion and have a "can do" attitude
15. Customer Service experience
16. Problem Solving skills
17. Willingness to learn

Whilst our Finance team comes from a range of different backgrounds, we find most of our Credit Controllers have previously worked as Payroll Specialists, Finance Administrators, Administrators, Customer Service Administrators, Payroll Assistants or have administrative experience within a Finance Department.
