Here at Barrow Hill Veterinary Hospital, we are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. There will be various shift roles including clinics, dispensary, theatre, and in-patients.

Barrow Hill Veterinary Centre is a purpose-built building situated in the beautiful Garden of England, Ashford, Kent. We are close to Ashford international station and shopping outlet, 15 miles from the coast and euro tunnel for access to Europe and the beautiful city of Canterbury is only a 20 minute drive.
We have state of the art equipment including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, orthopaedic equipment, k-laser unit, a CT scanner, and endoscopy. We have separate dog and cat wards and a separate isolation ward.

We encourage the sharing of CPD and best practice and hold regular M&M meetings to ensure that we are delivering the best care for both our patients and clients. Currently our team consists of 10 Veterinary Surgeons supported by 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 1 Kennel Assistant, a Client Care Manager and a supportive front of house team. We have three vets with a CertAVP and have visiting specialists in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and cardiology.
What we can offer
The position is full time Monday-Friday with 2:9 Saturday shifts. The earliest start time would be 8am and the latest finish time 8pm. There are no out of hours. Saturday shifts are worked on a rota and consist of alternating inpatient and consult shifts. There may also be some branch shifts in Hythe and New Romney. We are open to working with you to secure the appropriate shift pattern for you and us.
