A Cromwell nursing role includes a wide breadth of nursing duties, incorporating the management of complex medical and surgical patients, consulting, assisting with the provision of anaesthesia and schedule III procedures, as well as supporting the patient journey from admission to discharge. Our veterinary surgeons appreciate and respect the nursing team, valuing their professionalism and input creating a working environment where everyone can thrive.
The Lead Nurse Quality role will remain primarily clinical and includes a wide breadth of nursing duties alongside protected non-clinical time to work on project involvement with RCVS PSS, significant event reporting system, updating and reviewing SOPs, and championing dog and cat friendly schemes. We are looking for someone who has attention to detail and good time management and shows will ingness to support across all sites.
Your leadership responsibilities will include providing line management and training to team members, conducting performance reviews, SOP development and coordination for all relevant personnel working within your team.
