We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join one of our client schools based in Cardiff.
Job Description: As an SEN Teacher, you will work with children who have a range of learning difficulties and additional needs. Your role will be to create an inclusive classroom environment and develop tailored lesson plans that cater to individual educational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the specific needs of SEN students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student development.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with support staff and other professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with school leadership as needed.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is essential.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and tailored teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to teaching.
- Commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
