We are looking for a motivated team player to join our dispatch team. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment picking, packing, scanning, and loading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift. Our dispatch cold store runs at 12 degrees.
Working hours: 07.30am - 8.00pm, 4 days on 4 days off
The Position
1. Pick all customer orders and then load these orders to the customer.
2. Navigate the company Linkfresh system and use the company hand scanners.
3. Adhere to the correct stock rotation of product when collating customer orders.
4. Complete the dispatch process from start to finish.
5. Create customer pallet labels from sales orders.
6. Order transport for the relevant customer order.
7. Pick orders safely and accurately (this will involve lifting heavy trays).
8. Scan collated pallets onto the customer trailer.
9. Generate the relevant paperwork for the load dispatched.
10. Liaise with the packing department to ascertain product availability.
11. Carry out safety checks when taking the controls of a company forklift ensuring you have completed the vehicle checks on the onboard system (report any faults that may be present with the vehicle).
12. Carry out all customer stock counts.
The perfect candidate should have
1. Team player but should also be able to work alone without supervision when required.
2. Competent in using IT equipment.
3. Ability to follow procedures and work to strict deadlines with a flexible approach.
4. Good communication and organisation skills.
5. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
6. Hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence.
