Job Title: Hospitality Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
Our client is happy to consider non-qualified Assessors, who possess solid dual experience as a Head Chef, coupled with Hospitality Management (front of house) experience. Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel around Sussex and Kent
Salary: £31,000 - £35,400 (Salary dependent on qualifications + inclusive of location allowance based on eligible candidate postcodes)

Essential Criteria:
* Must hold dual experience of working within both Front and Back of house - as a Head Chef and also within Hospitality Management (front of house).
* Must hold strong occupational competency as a Chef, (e.g., Head Chef; Sous Chef; Chef de Partie).
* Experience of working Front of House at Management level, e.g. Food & Beverage; Bar operations; hosting etc.
* Must have experience of making fresh food, e.g. making dough, bread, pastries, soup, stocks and sauces from scratch.
* Ideally hold own NVQ Level 2 or above in Professional Cookery.
* Must be IT literate.
* Must be confident to support learners Maths and English Functional Skills.
* Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
* Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
* Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality, specialising in Commis Chef, Production Chef, Senior Production Chef, Kitchen Manager and F&B.
* Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/face-to-face delivery).
* Supporting learners through their Maths and English Functional Skills Level 2.
* Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
* Support, advise and motivate learners.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
* Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
