Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)

Are you an experienced and passionate leader in residential childcare, ready to take on the exciting challenge of managing a new 2-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Children’s Home?
We are looking for a motivated Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and direction for the home, ensuring the care provided meets the needs of the children and young people, and that regulatory requirements are consistently met.
* Leadership: Lead and inspire your team, providing supervision, guidance, and support to ensure outstanding care for the children.
* Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans and risk assessments that cater to each child’s specific needs and promote their well-being and development.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the home operates in full compliance with all relevant legislation, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted regulations.
* Communication: Build strong relationships with children, families, external agencies, and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in your care.
* Resource Management: Efficiently manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth and effective running of the home.
* Service Improvement: Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, continuously looking for ways to improve and enhance the quality of care provided.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven Leadership: Experience as a Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager in a Children’s Residential Home with a solid track record of positive outcomes.
* Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or working towards it.
* Ofsted Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, legislation, and best practices in residential childcare.
* Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to inspire your team and engage effectively with external agencies.
* Commitment to Safeguarding: A deep commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
