Quality Manager
Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR who are a leading global engineering, construction, and services company. KBR support the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, KBR offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
KBR are looking to recruit a Quality Manager on a permanent basis, based in Portsmouth, paying £60,000 per annum.
Role Overview/Responsibilities:
You will be responsible and accountable for developing and maintaining the KBS Maritime Quality Plan and the Business Management System (BMS) complaint with ISO 9001. This includes KBS Maritime procedures and any interlinking procedures from partners, the client and project work specific procedures. You will design and implement the BMS to ensure that it is accessible to all of the KBS Team, ensuring that all our people understand the BMS and Quality Assurance System works and supports the JV through training and ongoing education. You will ensure that all processes, procedures, and documentation are compliant with the BMS.
You will manage and coordinate all quality checks and inspection activities. You will develop, manage and implement an audit schedule to ensure compliance across KBS Maritime and subcontractors and you will conduct a management review at suitable intervals to ensure the continuing effectiveness of the Business Management System.
You will participate in all procurement and subcontracting processes to ensure quality requirements are specified, suppliers are properly assessed, and documentation is reviewed and approved/accepted, and all requirements implemented. You will also support the KBS Maritime leadership team to develop and manage the Relationship Management Plan.
A key part of your role is to ensure that the JV can achieve and maintain ISO 9001, 14001, 44000 and 55000.
Key experience:
You will have worked within a quality-based discipline in both an operational and management capacity. You will have in-depth experience of providing Quality Management and Audit, ideally within the FM and Property disciplines. You will have a background of developing and implementing a Business Management System that is able to support the need of the business whilst being easy to use and accessible to all of the team. You will have trained team members in how to use the BMS System and also provided ongoing support.
You will have a detailed understanding of audits, identifying non-conformances producing reports and managing non-conformances through to rectification. You will have worked collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure this is done in a proactive and timely manner. You will have built relationships with all your stakeholders and be able to influence all team members of the benefits and need for a Quality System and BMS
Qualifications/Memberships:
ISO19011 achievement in auditing skill
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
• IEMA qualification
• Six Sigma training
• Experience of auditing FM related services
• Certificated Lead Auditor
• Project / Programme Management qualifications
• Hold, have held or eligible to apply for security clearance
