Salary: Up to £33,000 plus the opportunity to earn commission and £5.5k car allowance

The sales team plays a key role in driving growth by identifying, evaluating, and winning new accounts within the Electrical Division. Relationships with customers are at the heart of what they do, and the team focuses on developing sales strategies to meet business needs.
For this role, you will need to travel to the Preston office as required and visit customer sites when necessary.
What will you be doing?
As a Business Development Manager in the Electrical sales team, you will develop and manage the sales pipeline, focusing on growing long-term, profitable business by researching and targeting new accounts that align with the company’s strategy and goals.
You will:
* Lead and contribute to winning new accounts, including making presentations, negotiating, following up, and preparing necessary documentation
* Visit customer sites to present services and survey their needs
* Set up new accounts by creating accurate records, required documents, and communicating agreed terms and service standards to all parties
* Manage the overall sales pipeline to achieve targets
* Help shape effective business strategies, priorities, and market propositions using your knowledge of local markets and competitors
* Support and advise Account Managers in identifying and prioritising new business opportunities with existing accounts
* Contribute to marketing strategies and initiatives to raise awareness and generate leads
* Ensure compliance with sales excellence standards, best practices, and all legal and regulatory requirements
As part of the team, you will get:

To join the team, you will need:
* Significant experience in technical B2B sales within volume organisations
* Knowledge of the Electrical or Facilities Management industry
* Highly effective sales, communication, and presentation skills
* Experience managing bids, tenders, contract negotiations, and opportunity pipelines
* Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills
* A methodical approach with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet targets
* The ability to support and guide less experienced colleagues
* Excellent attention to detail, with experience working on detailed proposals and CRM systems (MS Dynamics experience is a plus)
