Part-Time Bookkeeper Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper on an ad-hoc, self-employed basis. This is a flexible, part-time role offering between 6 to 16 hours per week, two weeks per month. The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Sage and Xero. Key Responsibilities: • Purchase Invoicing: Entering purchase invoices onto the system. • Bank Reconciliations: Complete all bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and consistency between bank statements and accounting records Essential Skills & Experience: • Proven Experience: Previous experience as a bookkeeper or in an accounting environment preferred, though training can be given. • Time Management: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Additional Information: • Flexibility: The role offers flexibility with hours; days are usually Thursday and/or Friday but are subject to change to adapt to client’s needs. • Hybrid Role: The position can be performed remotely if preferred, after a period of training.
