Job Title: Digital Marketing Officer

The Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College Family of Schools is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly professional Digital Marketing Officer. The Marketing and Communications team exists to support the vision, aims, and strategic objectives of the Eltham College Family of Schools and ensure that ours are the schools of first choice in southeast London/north Kent. Our core objective is to build the schools' reputation and profile, raising awareness and interest to drive pupil recruitment and income, communicating clear, authentic, and motivating brand identity and benefits to our defined target audience. We aim to foster high levels of engagement with all stakeholders, including current and prospective parents, students, staff, our local community, and education influencers by implementing an effective, targeted, two-way communications strategy.

Postholder role: To develop and implement effective and efficient digital marketing, social media, and channel strategies for the Family’s schools, ensuring that our content and messaging reach, attract, and engage with target audiences through the most relevant media in the most impactful and cost-effective way, driving recruitment quality and numbers while reinforcing strong relationships with existing stakeholders. To deliver outstanding, customer-focused email, retargeting, and other appropriate campaigns, in conjunction with Admissions, to move prospectives further along the recruitment journey, from event attendance to registration and acceptance. To manage and optimise our social websites and inbound marketing strategies for SEO and user experience and provide data analysis, insight, and leading-edge technological expertise to constantly improve marketing outcomes and levels of innovation.
Eltham College is a highly successful independent day school in south-east London, educating boys and girls aged 7 to 18 across both Junior and Senior Schools. The College has grown considerably over recent years: there are now over 800 students in the Senior School and around 260 pupils in the Junior School, and places are heavily oversubscribed. Since 2020, girls have been able to join Years 3 and 7, mirroring the Sixth Form which has been coeducational for over 45 years. The school places an equal emphasis on academic, pastoral, and co-curricular excellence and has an outstanding reputation in all three areas as well as for the friendly, unpretentious nature of daily life.
